The cafe still serves its great, Village-favorite wraps, sandwiches, paninis and salads, but its reputation as Kansas City’s premier quiche maker has been growing and growing.
“We worked on these recipes a long time, trying different ingredients and techniques until we had it just right,” said C. Jacks owner Ron Schockly. “We wanted to make quiche so good that when you take that first bite, you say, ‘Sheesh, that’s good quiche!’”
Perfect for baby showers, wedding events, luncheons, birthdays, business meeting and family brunches, C. Jacks quiches are a delicious dish for special occasions. With traditional favorites like Quiche Lorraine, Spinach and Artichoke, and “Anytime Breakfast” Quiche, as well as specialty quiches like the C.B.C (chicken, bacon and cheese), and the C. And with their new gluten free recipes, C. Jacks offers something for everyone in the family to enjoy.
“These days, unfortunately, you don’t find a lot of foods that are truly made from scratch from fresh, quality ingredients,” Shockly said. “Everything we use you can buy at your local grocery store or farmers market — no fillers or preservatives. Out customers know that. And that’s why they keep coming back and telling their friends and family about us.”

In addition to its Village Shops location on Tomahawk Drive, C. Jacks quiche is now available at the Hen House Village Market, Cosentino’s Downtown Market, Hattie’s Fine Coffee at Corinth Square, and two Homer’s Coffee locations.
C. Jacks is open for lunch Monday-Friday 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and Saturday 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
From 2:30 p.m-6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday it’s Quiche time at C. Jacks! The main menu is closed but whole quiches to go and quiche-by-the-slice are available.
