Lee Cross, a Westwood attorney and a member of the Johnson County Community College Board of Trustees, has been named one of the top 40 under the age of 40 litigation attorneys in Kansas by the American Society of Legal Advocates.
Cross owns Cross Law Firm on Rainbow Blvd. in Westwood. The firm focuses on personal injury, wrongful death, civil and domestic litigation, environmental law, estate planning and criminal matters.
A nationwide, invitation-only organization, the American Society of Legal Advocates selects less than 1.5 percent of all attorneys for this award. “I am honored to be recognized by my peers for my contribution to our profession.” said Cross. “I owe my success to a great public education and the many mentors in the Kansas City legal community,” added Cross.
Cross is a member of the Kansas and Missouri Bar Associations as well as the Kansa City and Johnson County associations. Cross is also on the Board of Governors for the Kansas Association of Justice and serves as their membership chair.
He was elected to the JCCC board in 2013. He lives in Overland Park with his wife, Jennifer, and their daughter, Maria.
