Urban Table, the popular Corinth Square eatery that opened in 2011, underwent a minor remodel over the weekend and opened Tuesday afternoon with a slightly refined concept.
The renovations included the removal of the main counter area where patrons ordered breakfast and lunch items when they entered. Instead, the main space now features a more expansive seating area, and the restaurant will offer full sit-down service at all times of day, with waiters and waitresses taking orders at breakfast and lunch instead of patrons putting orders in themselves at the counter.
Along with the shift to all-day full service, the restaurant has reduced the days it will serve breakfast and brunch. Starting this week, breakfast is no longer served Monday through Thursday, but is available Friday starting at 7 a.m. Urban Table will also offer brunch service Saturday and Sunday.
“Our goal at Bread & Butter Concepts is always to provide the most innovative quality culinary experience and service for our guests,” said proprietor Alan Gaylin of the move. “The counter service style was not the most conducive and best way for us to do that. There was confusion from our guests when doing counter service at breakfast and lunch and full service at dinner. We look forward to providing a higher level of service and food.”
The restaurant’s new hours are:
Monday-Thursday 11am-11pm (lunch 11am-3:30pm, dinner 5pm-10pm);
Friday 7am-Midnight (breakfast 7am-10:30am, lunch 11am-3:30pm, dinner 5pm-11pm);
Saturday 8am-Midnight (brunch 8am-3:30pm, dinner 5pm-11pm);
Sunday 8am-11pm (brunch 8am-3:30pm, dinner 5pm-10pm).
