If you like art and wine, this bit of news should have you feeling fine.
LANE4 announced this week that it has a new lease in place for the space vacated by Mady and Me children’s boutique a year ago. Pinot’s Palette, a national art space chain with a location at Park Place in Leawood, will be moving into the space in early spring.
Pinot’s Palette offers community art classes and private event space where patrons are guided through an art project while enjoying a beverage of their own bringing. Debra Nemec, the proprietor of the Leawood location, which has been open since April 2013, said she sees the Village Shops as a good fit for the concept’s target market.
“It struck me how much of a community-focused area it is,” she said. “You’ve got a lot of families and a density of population that made us feel like it was the right spot for us.”
Pinot’s Palette has more than 50 franchises across the country.
