3 northeast JoCo residents among new directors for Community Foundation of Johnson County
Northeast Johnson County will have three new representatives on the Community Foundation of Johnson County’s Board of Directors.
Founded in 1999, the Community Foundation of Johnson County is an affiliate of the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation, and focuses on improving the quality of life in the area.
Fairway resident Judy Hart, a community volunteer, Fairway resident Paul Seyferth, an attorney with Seyferth Blumenthal & Harris LLC, and Prairie Village resident Tom Thornhill, a realtor with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, are among the six new directors announced Wednesday.
They join a group of 12 previously named directors.
“The Community Foundation of Johnson County is fortunate to have a community of
people who are committed to improving the quality of life in our region through
charitable giving,” said Chandler Moenius, executive director of the Community
Foundation of Johnson County. “We believe that philanthropy should be the
responsibility of many, not just a select few, and we look forward to working with our
new board members as we continue to encourage others to experience the magic of
charitable giving.”
