Google to host community meeting on Fiber for Westwood residents

The envy was closer to theoretical in August.

But now it’s about to get real.

Westwood sent a notice to residents this week inviting them to a community meeting about Google Fiber’s second rally phase — of which Westwood, Westwood Hills and Mission Woods are to be a part.

The session is scheduled for the evening of Feb. 21 at the Google Fiber Space just across the state line on Westport Road. Residents are encouraged “to bring your questions about what to expect next.”
