SM East grad named headmaster at Boston arts school

A 1989 SM East graduate has landed the top spot at the city of Boston’s public high school dedicated to the visual and performing arts.

The Boston Arts Academy this week announced that Anne Clark has been named Headmaster after a nationwide search. Clark is a founding faculty member at the academy, and had served in the Headmaster position in an interim role since September.

Clark is also a graduate of Harvard/Radcliffe College and holds a master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin — Madison.

She is the daughter of Virginia and Charles Clark. Charles is currently the president of the Prairie Village City Council.
