New poll: Proposals for a major Prairie Village natatorium/community center
With a lukewarm endorsement to further explore a proposal for a $45 million natatorium/community center on the Prairie Village municipal grounds, the Prairie Village Parks and Recreation Committee on Wednesday opened formal discussions about a major project that could create a significant — and expensive — community asset. The Prairie Village City Council will hear more about the proposal from the firm that produced the report later this month, but before they do, we want to know what your initial reaction to the project was?
What's your reaction to the proposal to build a $45 million natatorium/community center in Prairie Village?
- I'm all in! This would be a great addition to the community. Let's figure out how to finance it. (41%, 84 Votes)
- No way, Jose. With a price tag like that, it's a non-starter. (34%, 69 Votes)
- I'm interested, but... A community center would be great, but we have to make sure the benefits to PV are there. (25%, 51 Votes)
