Prairie Village parents coordinating care package for Sandy Hook community

Prairie Elementary mom Lainie Reuter sent us the following note about collecting items for a care package to send to Newtown, Conn:

The Prairie Village community is putting together a care package for Sandy Hook Elementary School to let them know we are thinking and praying for them during this difficult time. If you’d like to contribute to this care package, please feel free to do so. Ideas to give their school (students & teachers) are crayons, stuffed animals, books and sympathy cards (no cash donations). Drop off all items at the front desk at Village Presbyterian Church at 6641 Mission Road (South door), M-F 8-5 pm., by January 4th. Please specify it’s for Sandy Hook Elementary School.
