‘Dog liberator’ may have returned to Prairie Village

Faithful readers may recall a notice we posted in January about an Indian Fields homeowner who found someone had been opening backyard gates in the neighborhood and letting their dogs escape?

Well, sound like a new wave of “dog liberation” may be under way.

We got a tip from a reader yesterday who said there were literally dozens of open gates Monday and Tuesday in the area between Mission Road and Roe Avenue and 69th Street and 72nd Street.

Did anyone else have this happen to them early in the week? Any dogs run away as a result?
