A frighteningly fun time at Fairway’s Trail of Tricks and Treats

Fairway’s Peterson Park was packed Sunday with a ghoulish gathering of kids making their way through the Parks and Recreation Department’s annual Trail of Tricks and Treats. Kids wound their way through a path pocked with games — and the opportunity to fill their Halloween bags.
Fairway Mayor Jerry Wiley checked the credentials of a young man claiming to be a member of the police force.
Capt. Chase was stuck in a holding pattern for most of the night. Peterson Park was too full for him to get clearing for takeoff.
