Prairie Village native DiDonato to appear on national PBS broadcast tonight

When viewers across the country tune in to the one of 350 PBS stations airing tonight’s Arts Summer Festival broadcast, they’ll be introduced not just to Kansas City’s acclaimed new Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, but also to Prairie Village native and opera virtuoso Joyce DiDonato.

DiDonato is the featured performer in the broadcast, set to air at 9 p.m. central time on KCPT.

DiNato is a world-renowned Mezzo-Soprano whose performed at venues around the world. Recently, she performed with Placido Domingo at The Metropolitan Opera in New York.
