All Stars of teepeeing put on one for the ages
Each year, for one night in mid-July, they gather — masters of their craft determined to put on a display, searching for their stage.
They are All Stars. And it was their time to shine.
And shine they did, with toilet paper streaming behind them!
Residents throughout the area this morning are likely to notice the dozens of teepeed homes, a right of passage for country club swimmers preparing to compete in the annual Bud Merritt championships — and a thorn in the side of their Mission Hills parents who realize that there is no better than a 20 percent chance of rain in the 10-day forecast.
Coincidentally, the All Star Game of baseball took place last night as well.
