Get your art on, Prairie Village: Annual fair starts Friday

The area’s biggest art fair — which continues to draw increasing attention from artists across the country – returns to the Village Shops tonight for a three day run.

Organizer Donna Potts says the art fair committee received more than 425 applications for the 105 artist openings in this year’s fair.

The fun kicks off Friday at 5 p.m. A schedule of events for the weekend is below:

Artists booths:
Friday: 5-8 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
Sunday: 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

Music (under the clocktower):
Friday: Michael Beers Band 7-10 p.m.
Saturday: Jazz for Good featuring Danny Embrey 7-10 p.m.

Pancake breakfast featuring Chris Cakes:
Saturday, 8:30-10:30 a.m. ($5 a plate)
