Perfect May night brings high school to a close for SM East’s graduating seniors

SM East’s graduating class of 2012 couldn’t have asked for a better night to bid farewell to high school.

Principal Karl Krawitz handed out diplomas to nearly 400 seniors at SM South stadium Thursday for this year’s commencement ceremonies. Student body president Carolyn Welter gave opening remarks, and senior class president Tom Lynch delivered the student oration.
