SM East juniors heading to DC after local Academic WorldQuest victory

It was a big weekend for SM East’s Academic World Quest team, which beat out teams from 15 other local high schools in the competition that tests students’ knowledge on world affairs, geography, history and current events.
The SM East team of Hudson Peters, Andrew McWard, Jocelyn Worner and Anamika Ratri took first place at the competition at Park University, and earned themselves an expenses-paid trip to Washington, D.C., in April to represent the Kansas City metro area at the national WorldQuest competition.
