Belinder celebrates Reading Week with a cast of characters

Reading Week at Belinder Elementary got off to an animated start Monday as Miles McMahon from Theatre of the Imagination performed children’s stories and poems for students over the lunch hour:

Organizers have the week chock full of reading-centric activities, including a reading rocking chair for parents in the lobby. Each day this week, Belinder parents will be reading in the chair in 30 minute increments between 7:45 a.m. and 8:15 a.m.

Belinder dad Bill Martucci greated students from the parents' reading rocking chair in the Belinder lobby.

The school also has a flash mob of the principal and teachers prepared to have a Green Eggs and Ham “reading and eating” this Friday between 2:15 and 2:40 p.m.
