Lancers take Kansas state swim chamionship yet again
For the sixth time in eight years, the SM East boys swim and dive team has taken the Kansas 6A state title.
A the state meet Saturday at the Hummer Sports Complex in Topeka, the team amassed 337 points and took home the championship despite not having an individual swimmer take first in a single event. The Lancers did, however, capture both the 200- and 400-yard freestyle relays
The Lancers last won the title in 2010. Blue Valley North, which came in second this year, won in 2011.
