New poll: Did the PV City Council make the right move on the Tomahawk Road fence?
On Monday, the Prairie Village City Council voted to replace the black chain link fence that had upset many Tomahawk Road residents with a wooden rail fence that will have a chain link backing. Public Works has provided the above photo as a sample of what the new fence will look like (though the wooden rails to be used on the new fence will be rounded, not split-rail, as shown above). The cost of removing the black chain link fence and replacing it will be approximately $20,000. Did the council make the right call?
