Fairway seeking summer staffers for pool, camps

If the winter blues have you down, here’s a reminder that summer and its accompanying pool weather aren’t all that far away.

Fairway Parks and Recreation is seeking applications for around 50 summer job openings:

The Parks & Recreation Department fills about 50 different positions each spring for the upcoming summer season. Direct all questions pertaining to seasonal employment to Nathan Nogelmeier, Director of Parks & Recreation, at 913-262-0350 Ext. 5300 or nnogelmeier@fairwaykansas.org.
 
Positions include: Recreation Program Assistant, Internships, Pool Managers, Assistant Managers, Head Lifeguards, Lifeguards, Swim Coaches, Swim Instructors, Snack Bar Attendants, Kid Kamp Staff.
 
In order to be considered for a lifeguard position at Fairway Pool, candidates must provide proof that they will be at least 16 years of age on or before June 1, 2012.
