Corinth library to close for 3 days for installation of radio ID tags on books
The Corinth Library will be closed Jan. 31-Feb. 2 (that’s Tuesday through Thursday) while workers install radio frequency identification (RFID) equipment and add tags to books and other checkout materials.
The library says that on-hold materials sent to the Corinth Library will be held a few extra days to allow for pickup when the building reopens. Other branches will be getting the new equipment and radio tags in early 2012.
The library projects the RFID implementation will improve the self-service checkout experience.
