5 Prairie Village restaurants offering special Restaurant Week menus

KC Restaurant Week kicks off today – and you won’t have to travel far to find the event’s special menus at popular prices.

Five local restaurants — the Blue Moose Bar & Grill, BRGR Kitchen + Bar, story, Tavern in the Village and Urban Table — are all participating in the event, which benefits Harvesters. A photo of Tavern’s steak graced the cover of the publication promoting the event citywide.

Participating restaurants are offering two- or three-course lunches for $15 and three-course dinners for $30. The restaurants donate 10 percent of the price to Harvesters, which is able to provide five meals to hungry residents for every $1 it receives. The event runs through Jan. 29.
