‘Prom season’ comes to an end on Falmouth Street
Complaints about Mike Babick’s increasingly popular Falmouth Street lights display may have tapered off somewhat this year — but that doesn’t mean the neighbors who face the seasonal increases in traffic and noise got to enjoy any silent nights.
Of particular offense to some was the steady stream of limos and busses that made their way along Falmouth, often willfully ignoring the posted no-parking signs. A Falmouth Street resident who lives near Babick’s house sent the following picture of three limos parked in front of the display the night of Jan. 1 — all in no-parking zones.
” I would sell the house,” he wrote, “but when you go to closing you have to divulge the Xmas house, which in turn takes about 30k off the value.”
