Le Peep at 95th and Nall will close by first week of January
A little more than a year after it opened at 95th Street and Nall Avenue in Prairie Village, Le Peep restaurant will be closing its doors. Owner Al Hinman said he expects operations to have ceased by the first week of January.
“It’s always a hard decision when you have to pull the trigger on something like this, but it just wasn’t doing enough for us,” he said. “We’re pretty sad.”
Hinman, who owns Le Peep locations in Overland Park and Lenexa, said the other restaurants would remain open. Citing a confidentiality agreement, he declined to comment on the specifics of what would happen to the building, but confirmed that it would not be vacant.
Word has it that the Big Biscuit, a breakfast and lunch chain with locations in Shawnee, Independence and Blue Springs, may be moving into the space.
