Santa Claus must really like Prairie Village

I think it’s fair to say we’re officially on the map, Villagers.

Santa Claus, the ancient bearer of Christmas gifts sometimes referred to as Old Saint Nick and Kris Kringle, made an unprecedented second public appearance in Prairie Village Saturday. And this is a busy man, okay? I saw him in an iPhone commercial over the weekend, and Siri told him he had 3.8 billion appointments next Saturday. So, kind of a big deal.

Anyway, Mady & Me hosted a breakfast with Santa to benefit Toys for Tots Saturday morning. Families who brought in a new toy to donate got to meet Santa and have breakfast provided by C. Jacks. It was a great late-season opportunity for kids to communicate their last minute wishes. And for parents to get that coveted photo of their kids sitting on Santa’s lap. Mady & Me’s staff did their best to elicit smiles:
