Former Lancer soccer standout Jandl plays in NCAA women’s title game
The Duke Blue Devils may not have won the NCAA women’s soccer championship this year, but the remarkable run that put them on the brink of their first-even title Sunday was fueled in part by former Lancer Libby Jandl.
Jandl was a starter on the Duke team that fell to Stanford 1-0 in the title game. The junior defensive specialist was a four year letterwinner at SM East and was chosen as the school’s athlete of the year as a freshman. She also earned an International Baccalaureate degree and graduated third in her SM East class of 462.
Jandl’s two older sisters, Kate and Brooke, graduated from Duke as well.
