PV church has trailer full of Christmas Eve service equipment stolen
KMBC reported earlier this week that a local church’s trailer filled with equipment for a special Christmas service was stolen over the Thanksgiving holiday.
Mercy Church, which used to meet at Indian Hills Middle School and has recently moved to the Congregation Kol Ami temple, had the trailer parked in the Kol Ami lot over the break. When they came back, says Pastor Timmy Gibson, the trailer was gone.
It was full of tables, chairs, supplies, instrument cases and audio equipment for the church’s planned Christmas Eve service at the Intercontinental Hotel at the Plaza.
The trailer is 24 feet long and black with “Olathe Life Fellowship” slightly visible through the paint job. If you have any information about the theft, please contact the Prairie Village police at 913-642-6868.
