November, I can reliably report, is very near its end. And with it will go Prairie Village Mayor Ron Shaffer’s Ripple bin recycling challenge.

So if you’ve got an unsettling amount of empty wine bottles sitting around from your Thanksgiving gathering, try to round them up and deposit them in one of the city’s two Ripple bins before the day is through.
