US Bank robbery suspects charged, held in Johnson County jail

The two men arrested after Friday’s robbery of the US Bank at the Village Shops were charged in Johnson County court this weekend, and are scheduled to make an appearance in court at 1:30 p.m. today.

Dennis E. Bowen, 40, and Joshua J. Parker, 19, were booked by the Sheriff’s department Friday afternoon. Both face charges of robbery.

One of the men was dressed as a woman when he entered the bank and robbed it. A man dressed as a woman had robbed banks in Roeland Park and at the Plaza as well as the Village’s US Bank location prior to Friday’s arrests.
