SM East parent and accomplished actor Kip Niven‘s Equity Actor’s Readers’ Theatre’s second series kicks off tonight with a reading of Kaufman and Hart’s Once in a Lifetime.
The theatre’s first series included five plays, and EARTh has five more scheduled to run through April 2012. Additional readings will include George Bernard Shaw’s Misalliance and Garson Kanin’s Born Yesterday.
The presentation begins at St. Teresa’s Academy, 5601 Wyandotte.
Nevin lives in north Leawood, and one of the stage managers for the productions is Prairie Village resident Jim Mitchell.
