Prairie Village to get 250 additional LED streetlights
Prairie Village is going to get a little brighter.
As part of the next phase of KCP&L’s LED Streetlight Pilot project, around 250 additional LED Streetlights will be installed throughout the city over the next six months. The installations will be done at no cost to the city.
Prairie Village is one of the pilot sites for the program, which replaced several traditional high-pressure sodium streetlights with new LED models that are brighter and more energy efficient throughout the Kansas City area.
