Sporting KC player helps get Belinder crowd pumped for annual Walkathon

Belinder Elementary students took to the school’s track Friday to get some exercise and raise funds for the PTA.

Sporting KC midfielder Luke Sassano was on hand to kick off the annual Walkathon, for which student secured pledges. They walked around the school’s track for an hour while a DJ kept the crowd entertained.

The PTA hoped to raise $17,000 from the event.
