A couple of fun fundraisers around town today

So…big apologies to anyone who showed up at the Highlands PTA Bake and Lemonade sale yesterday at our urging. The event got postponed due to weather. But students, families and staff will be at the school from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. today selling goodies and raising funds for the relief efforts in Joplin, Reading and Sedalia.

And, once you’ve procured those tasty treats and sweet, sweet lemonade in the name of a good cause, consider heading over to SM East where the JV Lancer Dancers will be holding a car wash from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. to raise funds for costumes and competition expenses.
