Prairie Village and Fairway merchants rock KC Magazine ‘City’s Best’ nominations

Bijin Salon and Spa is nominated in four categories.

If you’re looking for the best of Kansas City, you don’t have to look very far — at least according to the nominations for this year’s City’s Best awards from KC Magazine.

Nine businesses with Prairie Village or Fairway locations made the short list for this year’s awards — and another, Pizza 51, is set to open a location here later this summer.

The local nominees were: Bijin Salon (in four categories); Tavern in the Village (in two categories); BRGR; Brookside Optical; Cafe Provence; Matney Floral Design (at the Fairway Shops); Minsky’s Pizza; Rimann Liquors; and Sole Patch Barbershop.
