Vote on new CVS building at Corinth likely won’t come until July
Chances are the Prairie Village Planning Commission won’t be making its scheduled vote on a proposal to build a new CVS building at Corinth Square during tomorrow night’s meeting.
Prairie Village city staff are recommending that the Planning Commission postpone its approval vote on the project until July 5 so the developers will have time to finalize revised plans for the old Tippin’s restaurant site.
Though CVS’s developer and LANE4 have submitted a new site plan for the project after receiving public input at the community meeting May 18, the city doesn’t have new elevation drawings and some details about the proposal revisions are still up in the air.
Still, assistant city administrator Dennis Enslinger encouraged interested residents to attend tomorrow’s planning commission to share their thoughts on the project.
“It is important that people make their opinion known at this time if they would like to see changes made,” he said.
The Planning Commission meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the City Council Chambers.
