Local foodies writing extensive prologue to Story

Coming soon signs are up in the windows of the space that will house Story.

Former Michael Smith and 40 Sardines chef Carl Thorne-Thomsen’s new restaurant Story is set to open in the Village Shops before the end of the month. And before it does, local food writers are making sure it’s getting plenty of attention.

Late last week, The PItch’s Jonathan Bender wrote a three part series on Thorne-Thomsen and Story for Fat City, the paper’s food blog. The series examined what led the acclaimed chef to choose the Village as the site for his first restaurant, what foods he can’t live without, and what patrons can expect from Story.

And on Saturday local food blogger Sharmin Meadows published a long preview of the space and menu, including another interview with Thorne-Thomsen.
