SM East graduate Meredith Fuller starring in reality show alongside husband Sinbad

Meredith Adkins (née Fuller), a 1980 SM East graduate who used to work at the Prairie Village pool, is getting her turn in the limelight as part of a new reality show.

The new show, “Sinbad: It’s just family,” follows the life of Adkins’ husband, the comedian Sinbad, Adkins, and their children.

Adkins and Sinbad met while she was a student at Wichita State University and he was enlisted at McConnell Air Force Base. They married in 1986 and had two children, but then divorced in 1992. Adkins moved to Los Angeles where she finished her bachelor’s degree. She then worked as an accountant to help support the kids.

In 2002, Sinbad and Adkins got back together and remarried. Most recently Adkins has been helping manage daughter Paige’s burgeoning music career.
