Basketball season opens with Black & Blue scrimmages

Lancer hoops fans got a sneak peak at this year’s teams last night during the annual Black & Blue scrimmages. The girls and boys freshman and sophomore teams got the evening started at 5 p.m., followed by the JV and varsity squads from the girls at 6:30 p.m. and the boys at 7:15 p.m. The Lady Lancers open their season 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2 against St. Thomas Aquinas at home. The boys get things going 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3 at SM South.
