Suspects in burglary booked, court date set for Monday

The suspects arrested Tuesday when a Prairie Village resident called police after seeing three men leaving a residence near 76th Street and State Line Road have been booked at Johnson County’s New Century Detention Center, 27745 W. 159th Street. The detention center is in Gardner.

The men, James M. Jackson, 24; Leanthony D. Mullins, 19; and Tynell E. Duley, 18; have all been charged with attempted burglary, obstruction and possession of a firearm. Jackson and Mullins are also charged with eluding police officers. All three are residents of Kansas City, Mo. Bail has been set at $20,000 each. The men are scheduled to make their appearance in court Monday, Nov. 29 at 1:30 p.m.

Six local law enforcement agencies participated in the chase and search that resulted in the capture of the men, but Prairie Village police department officers made the actual arrests of all three.
