Portable toilet topples at Franklin Park

Oh, not on the new asphalt…

A portable toilet that had been set up at Franklin Park while construction crews finish up extensive renovations was found flipped on its side Sunday. The good news is that the toilet appears to have been relatively un-full when it fell, though a chemical agent spilled out onto the newly repaved parking lot.

It seems likely the toilet was toppled by the strong winds that swept through the area Saturday night and Sunday, but we’ll check in with city hall and see if they have any reason to suspect it was vandalism.
