Beer tasting event to benefit first PV Jazz Festival

Organizers of the Prairie Village Jazz Festival are hosting a beer tasting event at Johnny’s this Saturday to raise money for the first ever PV Jazz Fest, which is scheduled to be held at Harmon Park on September 11.

The “Jazz Tavern Tasting” will feature a vareity of seasonal and new beers from Goose Island, Tallgrass, O’Fallon and ABInbev. Appetizers will be provided. Tickets cost $10. Additionally, Johnny’s will be helping support the effort throughout the weekend by donating 20 percent of the check at tables where the patrons mention the Jazz Festival to their servers.
