Gourmet burgers are hot right now. And according to KC Magazine, there isn’t a hotter place to get them than BRGR Kitchen + Bar in Corinth Square.
The magazine announced last week that BRGR had beaten out four other nominees to win its “Best New Restaurant” award, as voted on by its readers.
BRGR chef Lindsey Hintz said the restaurant’s owners knew that locating the restaurant in Prairie Village would help make it a success.
“They did a lot of demographics and realized that Prairie Village would be a really perfect spot,” Hintz said. “You’ve got lots of young couples with kids, plus a number of older folks as well. It’s a great location for a neighborhood feel.”
Since opening in March, the restaurants has seen steady crowds lining up for its gourmet burgers, fries — and $2 yard beers.
