Mission Road closed in Fairway due to water main breaks

The city of Fairway has closed southbound traffic on Mission Road from 53rd Street to Shawnee Mission Parkway today for road repairs necessitated by two water main breaks over the course of the past couple weeks. The city said it intends to have the road reopened by rush hour.

Alternate access points for Shawnee Mission Parkway are Falmouth and Pawnee.
