Moose, Santa Claus and vuvuzelas mark opening of swim championship finals

Tweet The opening ceremonies this morning for the Country Club Swim Association of Kansas City’s championship finals at Mission Hills were chalked full of team spirit — so much so that a number of brave swimmers donned heavy, fury mascot costumes in the 85 degree heat. Construction begins to replace decorative sidewalks on Mission

Tweet Construction crews have closed one lane of traffic at the intersection of 75th Street and Mission Road as they remove the decorative sidewalk the city installed a few years ago only to have it crumble time and again.
