Power outages reported in Prairie Village

KCP&L has confirmed that approximately 2,000 homes in Prairie Village lost power around 7:45 p.m. Tuesday. Some residents reported that they had power restored around 8:30.

A cause for the outage has yet to be determined, said a KCP&L spokeswoman, but once all power has been restored, the company will go about trying to diagnose what happened.
